First up were Bognor who were outplayed by Shoreham for the vast majority of the match. On a hard surface Shoreham moved the ball wide and found space in which to attack.
A much stronger performance in the rucks secured Shoreham more ball and this enabled the team to run with pace. A 3-1 win was just reward for an excellent performance.
Next up were Chobham and Shoreham again played some excellent rugby. Against a physical team we more than matched up in the ruck and maul but just failed at times in open play. A 3-0 loss didn’t really reflect the closeness of the game.
The final match was against another touring Chobham side and Shoreham played excellent rugby putting their opponents under concerted pressure. In a match they dominated it was just the final execution which fell short and the match finished 1-1.
