After a slow start to the season the under 8’s are beginning to come to the boil. A really strong display saw them overcome a determined Bognor in the two games they played. In the first tie they were particularly dominant running in 7 tries to Bognor’s 2. The pick of
these concluded an excellent passage of play in which Thomas Mollee having made an impressive run down the wing passed inside to Thomas Kentell who, after making good ground linked with Stan Taylor who touched down in the corner.
The second game was a closer affair where Shoreham ran out 6-3 winners. The strong defense particularly by Alfie John and Frankie Phillips proved invaluable helping breakdown Bognor advances and twice producing turnover possession for Rueban Edmondson and Luke Hartshorn to run the length of the pitch to touch down.
