Though the cold weather, and long trip on the part of Hastings, may have deterred a few visitors and Shoreham players alike. Those who did brave the elements trained hard and competed well in the drills and games.
Following on from last weeks exercises at Hove we concentrated on quick passing, running onto a passed ball and defending as a team.
To end the session we mixed the players to make a very competitive 7 aside game. Unlike last week where space was very limited this week, using a full pitch, all the players had the chance to run and find the gaps. This proved an effective method to build a good appetite to polish off the hotdogs that Shoreham Rugby Club had laid on.
Special thanks to the Hastings coach for his help organising the session and to his 4 players for making the journey.
